Zipped tote bag tutorial

I've has so many requests for a tutorial on a zipped tote bag, so I've spent the day making this, hope you like it! And a Happy New Year!

  1. Your YouTube video says to come here for written instructions. I can not find them. Do you at least have a list of the panels of fabric and their sizes needed? Thanks.

  2. Apologies, I don't know what happened to the instructions! The measurements are all at the start of the video, each side panel is 18" across x 13" deep, the is in two pieces, 18" x11.5" and 18" x 2.5", the zip is 19", four pieces to hold the top zip measuring 14" x 2.5". The patch pocket on the front is 9" x 8.5" with an 8" zip. Hope that helps...

  3. I made this last summer and have carried it as my purse all year. I am going to make a new version but this time I am going to put some Bosal into the handles to keep them a bit more cushy. I just found this blog so I am having such fun catching up.
