My tidy sewing room... and a new machine!


One of the sewing magazines want to do an article on my sewing room, this is as tidy as I could ,ake it! Took me hours... still can't find anything...



And note the new addition... a lovely little Pfaff Passport!

    Gorgeous room! Can I ask for help? I got the Felting machine (simplicity 12 needle) from C& C for Christmas , as well as the Oekaki. I tried the felting machine and all 12 needles broke on the first try. I replaced 6 of them, cleaned the fluff, tried again slowly (just two layers of felt) and another two broke. I cannot afford to keep replacing them. Can you offer any advice or forums that I could join? Thanks xxx

      Sounds like the needles aren't going through the holes in the presser foot evenly, are they breaking on the foot or in your fabric? Drop me an e mail on thimblelane@aol.com, and I'll get hold of some needles for you,

    Debbie, your sewing room really must be a lovely place to work, I could not imagine anything nicer, I am having a wonderful time making all sorts of your projects, thank you. I suspect that Alfie might be singing again from your picture ? xx
