After 11 years with Ideal Shopping today I've presented my last show, and was presented with a beautiful bouquet and cards from presenters and crew, and a very large amount of money to spend at Dunelm! Sad to leave the place I've spent 20% of my working life but exciting to start a new chapter.I've got a few projects up my sleeve and I'll keep you all posted...
No! Who am I gonna watch for sewing now.....only kidding :) good luck in your new ventures hunny and keep blogging :)

ReplyDeleteFrom C&C I like the Husqvarna 100q, I use a Pfaff Passport, do you want a mechanical or computerised? I recommend a computerised...
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of your comments and support, I have a few fingers in pies so will hopefully have more to fuel your crafty needs soon!
ReplyDeleteWill really missed you, but please keep the tutorials coming, there is only you I can follow, you have a very special easy way of teaching, wish you all the success in you new venture you so deserve it xx
DeleteFortunately I only discovered you were leaving C&C this morning when you returned as a demonstrator, although you could have knocked me down with the proverbial feather when Nigel made the announcement. It's because of your ability to make an item in super quick time, and make it look easy, that got me returning to sewing ... after some 20+ years ... and it's also because of your clever demos that I bought the Husqvarna Viking E20 - love it and wouldn't be without it - and I also have three of your books, so I am hoping that you will continue to appear as a visitor on C&C often, if only to continue feeding my newborn enthusiasm for sewing!! However, I do wish you the best of luck in whatever new ventures you embark on. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie

You made the sewing on C&C. Sad your going but pleased that you have new and exiting plans ahead for us all to enjoy
ReplyDeleteSo Ideal Shopping and Create and Craft have lost it's best presenter! Sad for them and us but exciting times for you! You are an inspiration to all of us sew-ers and I wish you luck in your new ventures. I for one will continue to "tune in" to your blog for news and inspiration.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to see you have left Create and Craft. You were the best presenter. I liked your calm manner and the way you let the guests do their demos. Your sewing shows were inspiring and made me want to get back to sewing. Perhaps we'll see you as a guest on C&C! Best of luck in your new ventures.
ReplyDeleteWill really missed you, please keep your tutorials coming, your the only one I can follow, you make everything , so easy to make, I wish you every success in your new venture, you so deserve it xxx
ReplyDeleteOh gosh thank you so much for your thoughts, 11 years is a long time to spend in one place so it really was time to move on, it's the right decision for me, there is so much more to do!
ReplyDeleteIt won't be the same without you showing us your sewing skills, and like all the others I have done more with my machine then in the past. I am self taught and did not know about tensions, or how to put a invisible zip in. How to use my blind hemmer which I did not know I had till you showed how to do it. Keep your books and video's etc going have your cushion blinds and curtains books.Hope to keep watching you on YouTube, again only heard this because of you. All the Best xxx
ReplyDeleteGoing to miss seeing you on cc!!
ReplyDeleteAlways looked forward to watching you,,, you gave such good tips and hints,,,,,,the best bit I seen on one of your slots was tossing away the cheap tacky dust cover for a machine,,as much as we like the girl from ,,,,bee crafty,,, she won't replace your wit.,,,,
