Best Craft Book awards

USA trip

Sorry I've not posted for a while, I've been away for a week at HSN in Florida. I had a day touring, testing and having meetings with production teams and buyers, then guested two shows on Tuesday for the Slice Elite cutting machine. They work very differently to Create and Craft, guests are allowed to roam freely around the studios and are expected to dress their own sets. There is, however, hair and make-up which CF&C doesn't have, which makes you feel quite special when going on air!

The green room has anything from a fresh buffet, drinks, and even porridge for breakfast, with several rooms, and the use of computers. I bumped into quite a few people I know too! Forbes Riley is a fitness expert, [she has asked me to host some fitness shows on QVC but I'm not really that fit...] Linda Marshall, a very witty skincare guest in her seventies, she gave me some of her new product which was quite a treat!

In between my working days I caught up with a friend I haven't seen for years, and enjoyed the 90 degree sunshine. There's a lake outside the hotel surrounded by a nature reserve.

Here's a few pics... The blue glass building is HSN's offices, the area the studios takes up is the size of a small village!
